Wow, what a bureaucracy. Winning a panel of judges over (which I imagine was the format) is incredibly difficult, and work that is more... neutral and viewer friendly tends to lend itself to that sort of competition.
So I wouldn't feel down about it, if I where you. Fuck, the prize would'a been nice though.

I enjoyed reading your essay when it was up, I appreciate the insight. I think you're tapping this very contemporary vein that few artists are tuned into, and I think it's marvelous. Many of the elements I perceive in your work are simmilar to things I'm striving to achieve in my own, and I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for you.

If there where any justice in the world - I think - you'd have unlimited funds and galleries in every continent~
